The assault on Planned Parenthood is unjustified. It is penny-wise and pound foolish. The law strictly and clearly prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion services. The Republicans’ elimination of funding for Planned Parenthood, will in the end cost more than it saves by ending the ability of millions of American women to receive family planning services, breast and cervical cancer screenings and preventative healthcare at cost-efficient Planned Parenthood centers. And the denial of simple birth control and family planning services may well increase both the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions in our country.
Um, I’m there! Play bingo and hang with pro-choicers, all in favor of Planned Parenthood’s Birth Control Matters campaign, “an effort to make prescription birth control available without co-pays, to enable women to choose the method that works best for them, and reduce the number of unintended pregnancies.” Reproductive Rights are my favorite!

-Planned Parenthood saves lives by providing low cost breast exams and cervical exams. WOMEN WILL DIE IF FUNDING IS CUT.
-Title X also seeks to cut funding for Women Infant Children (WIC) which serves 9.6 million low-income women, young mothers, and infants, each year by providing nutritional support.
The current Republican Congress does not care about women or children. This is an assault on women and human rights, and WE WILL NOT TAKE IT!!!

Planned Parenthood provides affordable pelvic and breast exams, preventive procedures which can save lives and are absolutely necessary for women’s health. They sell affordable birth control and provide non-judgemental care, especially to the GLBTQ community. They help numerous scared young women with no where else to go and no one to talk to, whether they need birth control, medical help after a rape, or yes, an abortion.
